With The Chibok school girls kidnapping by the so called Boko Haram and the recent outcry, both local and international, arising from it, I am vexed to say that I am indeed ashamed of my country Nigeria. Ashamed to say that our so called government is not able to do anything about it leaving the citizens of this great country to the mercies of criminals and marauders that intend to do others harm to both their lives and properties.
The revelations of one of the girls that escaped and from people that went in search of the remaining girls has left me to wonder about our so called leaders, in the person of President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, I do not
have anything against him but he is handling this situation with kid gloves, seating political office holders and opposition parties, sincerity and commitment to the growth and preservation of our country Nigeria. From what people living in Bornu State say the army is not capable of fighting the Islamic insurgents in the north. How then can they ensure the safety of all Nigerians? Let me remind you also of the threat from Fulani herdsmen, ritual kidnappers and killers and hardened criminals armed to the teeth. We are indeed not safe when the army cannot ensure our safety you need not look towards the police to do that. We all know their incompetence.
It is the ordinary Nigerian that suffers the brunt of all their wickedness. They, the politicians, steal our collective wealth and kill us at the same time, when shall all these stop? We can only solve our problems by ourselves, not the US, UK, France or China, but ourselves. APC will not solve our problems as they, whether PDP or APC, are all birds of the same feather, take Lagos State for example, that is exactly what Nigeria will become if APC is allowed to take power come 2015.
To put an end to this rubbish we must come together despite our differences, religion or tribe, respecting each other to move this country ahead before it will be too late.
NIGERIA MUST CHANGE!!!!
